  • Hard and Soft Landscaping – Bushy Business Ltd

Brief;

Bushy Business was tasked with implementing a phase of works around the house which had recently been refurbished and extended. The hard landscaping wrapped around the house using Grey Sandstone and self-binding gravel paths, edged with grey metal edging. Pockets of planting around the house were filled with a simple palette of shrubs forming a backbone, surrounded by colourful herbaceous perennials and grasses. The blank large house wall at the front was clothed with a Rosa Generous Gardener and a large specimen Prunus lusitanica helped soften the view as you drove and provided height and structure. Existing climbing Roses on the walls were hard pruned and trained on to new wires on the house, always looking to get the right mix of the old blending with the new, not least where the new elements met the existing garden.
