Live large this season

I’ve always fancied doing one of those fancy rotisserie BBQs and this video from Riverside shows how you can cook mouthwatering chicken wings and drumsticks with a Mississippi sauce – perfect for satisfying the biggest appetite! Watch here.

Just hanging …
Hanging baskets are always an attractive addition in both front and back gardens to add some vibrant colour.

You could do a little hanging around yourself, lounging on one of the beautiful array of swing seats, which are proving popular right now. This one from Zest 4 Leisure (Miami swing) is available in many garden centres and online.

Wild times with insects
If you’re one of the many people who like to encourage wildlife to your garden, insect houses are a great way to see bees and bugs. You can buy this one from the RSPB.

Bushy Beverage
The apéritif is ‘having a moment’ and makes for a refreshing drink on a warm day. The Martini Fiero, a blend of white wines and botanicals including Spanish orange peel, is mixed with tonic water and served over plenty of ice. Available from stores, including The Whisky Exchange online.
